About Me

I am a trained Labor and Postpartum Doula with additional training in Lactation Education from the UCLA School of Nursing. The primary focus of my work is in supporting new families and their baby(s) in the postpartum stage.

Having over 25 years of experience with infants and toddlers, a mother of two grown children, and a new grandmother, I provide a wealth of tools, knowledge, and wisdom to each family I serve. I embrace all families and their individual parenting style choices.

My style of support is what I have defined as "Mirroring Mothering". By supporting the new mother and her infant in a nurturing, non-judgmental, compassionate, patient, and loving manner, she discovers all the qualities of "mothering" instinctivley within herself.

I am available to work with families in both daytime or overnight basis, short or long-term assignments. I have experience working with singletons and multiples(twins).

I look forward to speaking with you about any upcoming needs you have for care and support as you begin or grow your family.

Multiples Baby Care Specialist

As a Multiples Baby Care Specialist, I have over 20 years experience working with several infants at a time. Specializing in the care and support of the new mother and family of twins.

I assist in facilitating breastfeeding (if the chosen method), helping to resolve breastfeeding questions or problems to ensure success.

By providing a wealth of information, support, and guidance, families learn to navigate through the unique challenges of caring for multiple newborns during the postpartum stage. I teach families about the importance of an Eat/Wake/Sleep routine. Parents quickly learn to trust their ability to understand their newborns' care needs.

I am available to work with you and your multiples in either a daytime or overnight setting up to 5 nights per week for the first three months.

I look forward to speaking with you about your upcoming needs for support as you begin or increase your family.
